Typical Internet Scams currently running:

Emails & Splash Screens:

Emails pretending to be from your Bank/Credit Company or Utilities Company Etc.

Beware of any emails especially if the URL link does not relate to the business address URL.

Look for grammatic spelling or wording that looks out of place.

NEVER, ever respond to emails with personal information. SSN or ID's and Passwords.

NEVER, Call any numbers shown on the screens, these are bogus sites to try and get your personal info.

Always contact the business directly to verify they sent out an email requesting such information.

Rule of thumb... Only respond to emails from persons or businesses you know, NEVER send personal info via email.

Use the Spam Blocker on your email or just delete!

Make sure you have a update Anti-Virus application installed (Need help we can assist)

PayPal:

Recently there have been a number of scam emails being sent out or calling you to provide confidential info about PayPal (Not from paypal.com).
Hang up with these calls as PayPal will never call you.

Never, give them access to your PC or Cell Phone.

PASSWORDS: Change your Password every 3 to 6 months, or a t least one a year!

Best Password combination: Alpha (Upper & Lower Case), Numeric (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0) and any Special Characters (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, ), :, ", <, >, ? (If Supported)
In addition make the Password a minimum of 8 Characters, (but 10 or 12 would be better).
